About The Position

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Part Time, rotating shift, Courier based out of Sentara Park in VA Beach, VA. This role involves picking up and delivering various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials, and packages. The Courier is responsible for operating the vehicle safely, keeping it clean and well-maintained, maintaining vehicle safety logs, and submitting timely requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs. Additionally, the position requires tracking lab specimens, reports, supplies, and all barcoded items. Requirements

  • High School diploma, or Equivalent
  • Driver License
  • None required (1 year Courier experience in lieu of High School Education)

Responsibilities

  • Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages
