About The Position

Tribal Diagnostics is searching for a Full-Time Courier driver in Oklahoma City. The hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Car and gas included. Job Summary: As a Courier Driver at Tribal Diagnostics, you are a vital part of our logistics team, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of laboratory samples to designated locations. Reporting to the Transportation and Logistics Manager, your role is integral to maintaining our commitment to excellence in service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Always present a nice and respectful demeanor to all clients.
  • Problem Solving – ability to analyze causes and solve problems at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Ability to use GPS and hands-free cell phones.
  • Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
  • Must comply with patient privacy rules.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles to deliver laboratory samples to designated locations promptly and safely.
  • Adhere to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and delivery schedules.
  • Follow predefined courier routes provided by the Transportation and Logistics Manager.
  • Report any route-related challenges, delays, or deviations to the manager promptly.
  • Handle laboratory samples with care, ensuring the integrity and security of each delivery.
  • Follow specific guidelines for transporting sensitive materials.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Transportation and Logistics Manager and other team members.
  • Provide updates on delivery status and report any issues encountered during the route.
  • Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Transportation and Logistics Manager
  • Successfully participates in and supports Tribal Diagnostics' compliance program and initiatives.
