About The Position

The position is for a Part-Time Courier/DOT at Federal Express Corporation. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 02:30 PM to 07:00 PM. The role involves being a driver/operator of company vehicles, providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages, checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service, and performing related customer service functions. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License consistently for the past three years.
• Must successfully complete a Federal Drug screen and background check.
