About The Position

The position involves operating company vehicles to ensure the timely and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The driver is responsible for checking shipments for compliance with service standards and providing customer service. This role requires a commitment to safety and adherence to federal regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance for customer contact.
• Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
• Pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Consistent ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license for the past three years.
• Successful completion of a Federal Drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company vehicles for package delivery and pick-up.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provide customer service related to deliveries and pick-ups.
