About The Position

The position involves being a driver/operator of company vehicles, responsible for the courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The role includes checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing related customer service functions. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance for customer contact
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
