Front line cross trained position directly responsible for working with constituents in both the Treasurer and Tax Claim divisions. The County Revenue and Collections Service Coordinator works independently within the Treasurer’s Office & Tax Claim Bureau. The County Revenue and Collections Service Coordinator is directly responsible for working with taxpayers to understand their options before their accounts are turned over to the Tax Claim Bureau and subsequent options once their accounts are placed with the Tax Claim Bureau. The County Revenue and Collections Service Coordinator works directly with Assessment to update taxpayer parcel information that is determined to be incorrect or needs updated. The County Revenue and Collections Service Coordinator will be the intermediate between various social service, senior services, constituent services, and referral agencies to refer taxpayers to applicable support networks should the need arise. The County Revenue and Collections Service Coordinator will serve as the liaison to PennDot for the Mobile Home Division. The County Revenue and Collections Service Coordinator will perform individual audits pertaining to their work to assure account accuracy, opening and processing county/municipal real estate tax payments and assisting customers at the counter and via phone/email. Under the direction of the Tax Claim Bureau Supervisor, team member will provide direct support during tax sale preparation and interact daily with constituents to assist in bringing their delinquent accounts current.
