As a Fiscal Officer 3, you will serve as the lead fiscal officer for our growing team at Wayne County Office of Human Services, overseeing all fiscal operations across multiple agencies including Aging, Transportation, Children and Youth, Drug and Alcohol, Behavioral Health, and more. This position requires application of professional accounting principles in order to manage budgets, financial reporting, audits, and cost allocations, while supervising a team of fiscal staff. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Human Services Administrator to ensure compliance with human resource and payroll policies, as well as coordinate with the County Chief Fiscal Office to ensure alignment with county accounting policies and procedures.
