About The Position

The Green Lake County Fair has made it their mission to provide positive youth development and leadership skills, along with promoting family and community involvement through education and tradition.

Employment Period:
Late May or Early June – mid-August, maximum of 600 hours. Actual start and end dates are somewhat flexible. Must be available during the fair, August 6-August 9, 2026.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $16.38

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to understand and effectively carry out instructions, meet deadlines and maintain accurate and complete records.
• Available for occasional evening and weekend work.
• Access to a vehicle, driver’s license and own vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Green Lake County Fair and Agriculture is an added plus to assist the general public.

Responsibilities

• Assist and work with Fair Coordinator on the various tasks to prepare for the Fair.
• Assist and work with youth, volunteers, and general public.
• Assist with coordinating educational displays and/or activities for the fair.
• Other responsibilities as assigned and required.
• Attend Administrative Committee meetings.
• Thorough knowledge of several computer programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), and other software as required in the department.
• Knowledge of social media sites (Facebook, Canva, etc.) to use for promoting and advertising events.
