About The Position

The County Extension Agent - Agriculture is responsible for conducting educational programs focused on agriculture and 4-H youth development within the county. This role involves engaging with a diverse audience to promote participation and support for various agricultural initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field.
• Valid transportation for job use with liability insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check including Arkansas Child Abuse & Neglect Central Registry records.
• Knowledge of agricultural subject matter appropriate to the county.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with diverse clientele regardless of background.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in community outreach or education programs.
• Familiarity with 4-H youth development programs.

Responsibilities
