About The Position

The Early Intervention Caseworker position is a professional case management role focused on providing essential services to children from birth to age three who have developmental delays. The Caseworker will assist families in accessing Early Intervention services, ensuring that children receive the necessary support to thrive and lead healthier lives. This role involves coordinating resources, monitoring service delivery, and applying problem-solving techniques to meet the developmental needs of children and their families.

Requirements

• Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; or
• Successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; or
• A bachelor's degree with a social welfare major; or
• A bachelor's degree supplemented by 12 college credits in related social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training including 12 college credits in related social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of case management services to eligible children and their families.
• Ensure access to and coordinate Early Intervention services according to the individualized Family Service Plan.
• Monitor consumer behavior and the delivery of services.
• Interact with agencies that comprise the service network for individuals being served.
• Exercise initiative and judgment in carrying out duties and responsibilities.
