About The Position
Washington County Children and Youth is seeking a professional individual to join our Casework team. Employees in this class provide a full range of social and case management services to children, youth and families to assist them in obtaining a more satisfactory social, economic, emotional or physical adjustment. An important aspect of this work is the employment of casework skills in obtaining essential information, counseling clients and members of their families, and helping them utilize all available resources. Newly hired Children & Youth Caseworkers work under the general supervision of a Casework Supervisor for a 6-month probationary period and complete training consisting of both classroom and fieldwork.
