About The Position
Northumberland County Children & Youth is looking for a professional to join their dedicated Casework Manager team. As a County Casework Manager 2, you will perform a variety of social service and casework duties designed to provide supportive services to children, youth, and families. You will work in close cooperation with other social service agencies, hospitals, mental health facilities, police, courts, schools, and other community resources in assisting the families. This is a professional social service position that is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of the workers in their unit. You will also perform primary supervisory tasks within the Children and Youth Services Program, do related work as required, and organize and administer activities of Northumberland County Children and Youth Services. A thorough knowledge of applicable federal and state laws as they pertain to the welfare of children and youth within Northumberland County must be maintained.
