About The Position

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Country Store Team at Center Grove Orchard. Country Store Staff members are responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors, processing point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring a positive and efficient checkout process. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, interacting with people, and contributing to a fun and festive atmosphere, this role is for you! Roles & Responsibilities We cross-train in order to allow staff to seamlessly jump in and assist where needed. You might become an expert in one or two roles, or you might discover that you enjoy many and become a master in them all! Cashier Cash handling skills are imperative Utilize the point-of-sale system to complete transactions Provide warm customer service during each transaction Answer questions on products offered in the Country Store Provide a general knowledge of Farmyard happenings Bagger Assist cashiers Carefully package customers’ orders Stocker Follow fixture diagrams to ensure products are fully stocked Move product from the warehouse and stockrooms to the Country Store floor Interactive Sales Assist guests shopping the store Familiarity with all products Answer any questions that the customer may have about products in the Country Store Provide a general knowledge of Farmyard happenings Provide samples of determined products to guests Apple Specialist Understand the differences between each variety of apple currently available Answer frequently asked questions about apples in the Country Store Provide a general knowledge of Farmyard happenings

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Understand and follow cash handling expectations
Strong teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
