About The Position

Lead EDGITAL's North America growth strategy with primary accountability for sales and business development across the municipal and public works sector. Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, establish repeatable go-to-market and operational processes, and partner with global leadership to align product, marketing, and execution to local market needs. Manage regional forecasting and profitability with an emphasis on disciplined growth, customer outcomes, and compliance with public-sector procurement requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful software sales experience with demonstrated achievement of revenue targets; experience selling to public-sector customers strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building and leading sales teams, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Working knowledge of software/SaaS solutions with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-focused value for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Familiarity with North American municipal/public works decision-making structures and procurement processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and business planning skills, including forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI-driven operating rhythms.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office; comfort with data-driven reporting and forecasting.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the North America go-to-market strategy to acquire and expand municipal and public works customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle (lead generation through contract execution), maintaining a healthy pipeline and delivering revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across municipalities, public works departments, and relevant partner organizations.
  • Represent Turner/EDGITAL at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of sales professionals (approximately 5-10), setting clear expectations and building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Coach and mentor team members; provide timely feedback and support performance management processes.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), forecasting cadence, and reporting routines; drive continuous improvement through data-driven management.
  • Conduct market research to identify sector trends, competitive dynamics, and priority segments; translate insights into actionable territory and account strategies.
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to localize messaging, value propositions, and solution fit for North America; provide structured voice-of-customer feedback to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Build and maintain operational processes and tools to support sales execution, including CRM discipline, procurement tracking, and standardized proposal/contract workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with public-sector procurement processes and applicable local regulations; coordinate with internal legal, finance, and risk partners as required.
  • Manage the North America operating plan (budget, expenses, and performance), balancing growth investments with cost discipline.
