The Countertop Installation Technician position is responsible for performing installation and service of new countertops on existing home and construction sites.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Service work Experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to use and read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch with accuracy and precision
  • Prior countertop installation or service experience
  • Ability to drive as required for the position
  • The ability to pass DOT medical/physical exam as required for position
  • The ability to safely lift over 100lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Carpentry skills
  • Stone countertop finishing experience

Responsibilities

  • Install or repair countertops in existing homes, new home construction job sites and commercial work sites.
  • Coordinate with other teams, outside vendors and contractors to meet installation schedules and goals.
  • Ensure the end product exceeds customer expectations, including post-installation clean-up.
  • Operate all necessary tools to complete a job.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
  • Occasionally perform on-site adjustments, including sink cut-outs, edge trims and surface finishing.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
