About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 05 The Team: The S&P Networks group offers best-in-class technology and industry best practices to manage risk, comply with regulations and assistance to industry participants with meeting their regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or recent graduate) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field completed no later than May 2027.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to quality.
  • Interest in financial markets/operations (coursework or student projects are great).
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately with coaching and clear instructions.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with others and open to feedback.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Excel is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with counterparty setup and maintenance activities by gathering required information, validating completeness, and routing items for review/approval.
  • Help monitor and update internal trackers/queues, ensuring requests are logged, statuses are current, and follow-ups are documented.
  • Perform basic data quality checks (e.g., identifying missing fields, inconsistencies, duplicates) and escalate exceptions to senior team members.
  • Support process documentation by taking notes, updating simple job aids, and suggesting clarifications as you learn the workflow.
  • Collaborate with teammates across senior and junior levels to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
  • Participate in training and shadowing, gradually taking on more ownership as you demonstrate readiness.
