Counterintelligence Requirements Officer

About the position

The Counterintelligence Requirements Officer will support counterintelligence functions, including collections, operations, investigations, analysis, and functional and technical services. This role requires the application of advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. The officer will work without considerable direction and will also mentor and supervise team members.

Responsibilities

• Support counterintelligence functions including collections, operations, investigations, and analysis.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Mentor and supervise team members.
• Provide counterintelligence program management support.
• Offer operational and production direction and guidance.
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal databases.
• Perform counterintelligence collection and production responsibilities.
• Publish approximately 100 Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) per year.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with counterintelligence.
• Experience developing presentations and briefing customers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of foundational defensive counterintelligence including conducting investigations, inquiries, collections, operations, analysis, briefings, debriefings, training, and awareness.
• Ability to provide counterintelligence program management support.
• Ability to provide operational and production direction and guidance.
• Ability to provide technical expertise and support to approximately 12 internal databases.
• Ability to perform counterintelligence collection and production responsibilities.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a Federal or DoD CI Training Academy.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis, Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
