About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to join our team! In this role, you will conduct defensive CI activities, damage assessments, and provide CI expertise to protect personnel, programs, technology, and information systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis/Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • 5+ (7+ highly preferred) years of CI experience.
  • Foundational defensive CI experience, including investigations, inquiries, collections, operations, analysis, briefings, debriefings, training, and awareness.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting defensive CI activities and damage assessments, requiring close coordination with senior leaders and other Intelligence Community (IC) agencies.
  • Performing daily research to evaluate and interpret information concerning intelligence, terrorism, and espionage threats.
  • Publishing intelligence with recommendations for mitigation and countermeasures.
  • Detecting and assessing anomalous activities for links to possible foreign intelligence collection and recommending countermeasures.
  • Preparing briefs and conducting formalized threat briefings, foreign contact/travel debriefings, and CI risk assessments.
  • Providing CI expertise to support vulnerability mitigation efforts, emerging technologies, and supply chain risk management initiatives.
  • Producing CI-related reports, including Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs), CI Threat Assessments, and Supply Chain Risk Assessment reports.
  • Liaising with IC agencies, law enforcement entities, and organizational components to facilitate information sharing and collaboration.
