The Opportunity Are you ready to shape the future of global security? The Leidos Intelligence Sector is seeking a skilled Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst - Senior , to support the USCYBERCOM J2 mission, to identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence activities directed at collecting sensitive national security information regarding U.S. persons, operations, and interests. The CI Analyst evaluates and anticipates emerging technology threats and foreign intelligence capabilities, applying analytic rigor to produce all-source CI studies and support the development and implementation of CI concepts, plans, and strategies. This role will support national security by ensuring threat awareness, timely reporting, and robust analytic support across the CI mission space. Security Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph required. We are not able to sponsor the clearance requirement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
  • Graduate of an in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining databases and repositories.
  • In-depth proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PDF.
  • Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Cyber investigative know-how within the counterintelligence field with specific experience in the collection, analysis, evaluation and dissemination of CI-cyber information is required.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph required. We are not able to sponsor the clearance requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep familiarity with USCYBERCOM organizational structure and mission.
  • Prior experience supporting Joint operations across multiple warfighting domains.
  • Direct support to counterintelligence operations or previous service as a counterintelligence desk officer.
  • Experience supporting CI risk assessments, supply chain risk assessments, or CI functions within Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA).
  • Experience as a CI agent or in support roles for CI collection, functional services, investigations, and operations.
  • Experience in conducting cyber and counterintelligence investigations and the ability to work with interagency partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts targeting sensitive U.S. national security information, people, operations, and interests—including threats emerging from advanced technologies.
  • Apply deep knowledge of foreign intelligence capabilities, activities, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to conduct in-depth analytic research and produce high-quality all-source CI studies.
  • Inform the development of CI concepts, standard operating procedures, plans, and strategies across all CI functions from an analytical perspective.
  • Consistently adhere to Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) all-source analytic tradecraft standards.
  • Produce tactical and operational level analytical products in response to Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring accuracy and actionable value across the CI continuum.
  • Ensure colleagues, team members, Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA), and leadership remain well informed on the evolving status and disposition of relevant CI products, threat trends, and analytic requirements.
  • Contribute analytic perspectives and insights to the development of briefings for foreign visitors and/or for U.S. personnel traveling to countries with elevated CI threats.
  • Maintain and manage intelligence databases and repositories; provide comprehensive and organized management of CI analytic resources.
  • Prepare and present analytic products and briefings using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PDF to accurately convey findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
