About The Position

i3 is proud to help our nation’s military personnel make the transition to civilian careers through the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge program. These opportunities are specifically for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. Participants are not eligible for compensation as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. i3 will consider any active-duty member that is eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program; however, for immediate consideration, we are looking for Military members to fill the following role: Systems Integrator

Requirements

  • Must be a current Active Duty Servicemember.
  • Must be separating from the Military within 180 days.
  • Will receive an honorable discharge.
  • Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to learn from others on the job.
  • Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, science, or other field relevant to the support for which the individual is supporting plus 5 years of experience. Or Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
  • Active Top-Secret Level Clearance with SCI Access.
  • Clearance, Access, and Investigation must appear in DISS and be within scope (5 – Years).
  • Current experience in managing government contracts and interacting with Contracting Officers, CORs, and Technical Monitors.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in establishing budgets, forecasts, and resource needs.
  • Experience in designing and conducting program metrics, reports, and briefings.
  • 2 years of experience in cross-functional team leadership at the operational and/or strategic level.
  • 2 years of experience ranging from the tactical unit to service level

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical integration of CUAS detection, tracking, and defeat systems
  • Develop system architecture and integration plans for multi-sensor CUAS solutions
  • Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful system deployment
  • Oversee system testing, validation, and verification activities
  • Create technical documentation and integration procedures
  • Represent the FMS community at technical interchange meetings and integrated product teams
  • Troubleshoot complex system integration issues
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders
