About The Position

Sims-Lohman in in search of a Counter-top Template Technician for our Columbus, Ohio location. If you have counter-top template, or cabinet & carpentry or counter-top installation experience, we are interested in hearing from you. Requirements

Previous experience creating templates for counter-tops, cabinets and carpentry.
Knowledge of measuring tools, levels and preferably lasers
Ability to perform simple math functions, including use of fractions
Pay rate based on skills and template experience.

Responsibilities

Drive to various customer locations (residential new construction, residential remodeling and commercial jobs)
Confirm cabinet level and stability for granite/quartz/solid surface applications
Confirm existing walls are plum and square
Confirm overhang, splash dimensions and sink choice with customer
Anticipate any installation and/or fabrication challenges
Answer customer questions regarding installation process
Measure templates at each job using an 2D3D Laser Digital Template, returning to the shop after site visit
Complete required templates to feed daily production.
