About The Position
Join the Opening Team at Rosati’s Pizza! A brand-new Rosati’s Pizza location is opening in early May in Rhinelander, and we are looking for friendly and motivated Counter Staff / Front of House Team Members to join our opening team. This is a great opportunity to be part of launching a locally owned and operated restaurant in a brand-new construction building and help create a great experience for our customers from day one. Rosati’s Pizza is known as “Chicago’s Greatest Thin Crust Pizza.” Our company is built on family values, work ethic, and teamwork. Most Rosati’s Pizza locations are locally owned and operated by entrepreneurial franchise operators. Job Summary As a Front of House / Counter Team Member, you will help create a welcoming experience for every guest who visits or calls our restaurant. Whether greeting customers, taking orders, or managing the register, you’ll be an important part of keeping our restaurant running smoothly. To thrive in this role, previous restaurant experience is not required. What matters most is having a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to hustle to help your team and customers. We’ll teach you everything you need to know, making this a great starting point for anyone interested in beginning a restaurant career.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Passion for providing great hospitality to guests and coworkers
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to remain on your feet for most of the shift and perform tasks such as reaching, bending, and moving throughout the restaurant
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly service at the counter and over the phone
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments at the register
- Communicate with the kitchen team to keep orders organized and on track
- Package orders for dine-in, carryout, and delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Assist teammates wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly
