Responsibilities

• Achieves daily, monthly, and yearly sales goals
• Greets each customer that enters the store within three seconds
• Answers phone calls by the third ring
• Offers customers a full line of options
• Attempts add-on sales that meet customer needs
• Can elaborate on sales goals and steps to achieve them
• Knows most customers by name
• Walks customers to products instead of pointing
• Understands parts and tools such as catalogs and computer systems
• Keeps cash overs/shorts within company guidelines
• Stays under company guidelines regarding markdowns
• Bills freight on all special orders
• Ensures all paperwork is accurate and meets company requirements
• Assists in inventory process and maintains accurate on-hand counts
• Recognizes co-workers for doing a great job
• Maintains a positive attitude daily
• Follows company dress code and attendance guidelines
• Participates in all company and store meetings
• Follows emergency procedures and keeps work area clean
• Utilizes team lifts for heavy items and reports safety violations
