As a Counter Sales employee, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for welcoming them and providing assistance as needed. Your role will also involve maintaining the store's appearance by ensuring it is tidy and well-stocked. In this position, you will process point of sale (POS) transactions, ensuring that every customer receives proper service and care. You will be tasked with stocking, assembling, and rotating merchandise from all inbound store freight, as well as completing daily assignments as directed by the store management team. Additionally, you will maintain your assigned area of the store in accordance with proper merchandising standards, contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to engage effectively with customers. While previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, it is not required. Relevant experience in a fast-paced environment will be considered an asset.
