This role is for a motivated Counter Sales Representative who will be responsible for maintaining product knowledge, marketing and promoting new products, assisting customers during the sales/purchase process, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting with warehouse functions daily.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric
• A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or willingness to learn electrical products
• Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintaining professional sales demeanor
• Track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls
• Maintain and develop customer relationships
• Actively stay up to date on product knowledge
• Generate product stock requests
• Create and maintain positive working relationships
• Create and maintain a safe and clean environment
• Market and promote new products
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed on a daily basis
