About The Position

We here at the Gustave A Larson Company are looking our next team member to join us as a Counter Sales Representative. We are an HVAC/R wholesale distributor throughout the Midwest and the great Plains area, including our Omaha location. We thrive on being customer service oriented, being nimble, balancing multiple responsibilities, and developing positive relationships with our teams to work together to get the job done.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Counter Sales Representative or customer service experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of HVACR field experience, and/or degree/certification in HVACR is strongly preferred.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Flexibility with changes in work schedule and willingness to work overtime and be on-call occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to dealers, business owners, and large HVACR companies.
  • Assist in selling the right equipment and recommending the right systems for customers' jobs.
  • Process sales, credit transactions, and warranty paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with warehouse, counter sales, and inside sales teams.
