Join the dynamic team at REIC Rentals (formerly known as Black Mountain Rentals) in Pinedale as a Customer Service & Yard Technician. We are looking for a customer service and safety focused individual who experience with troubleshooting and servicing mechanical and electronic equipment. We currently have over 55 locations throughout N. America and operate under several brand names in the NW including Midway Rental, Pro Rentals and Sales, Excavator Rental Services, Black Mountain Rental, and Aim High Equipment Rentals. Elevate Your Career With REIC: We offer a highly competitive benefit and compensation package that includes: Health, Vision, and Dental Benefits available for full-time employees & family members Company paid life insurance and additional voluntary lines of coverage for life, accident, hospital indemnity, & critical illness available Generous paid time off (PTO) + company paid holidays 401(k) with company matching after 60 days of full-time employment Ongoing Professional Development Opportunities A typical day might include the following: Schedule M-F 7:30am-5pm Walk the yard daily to ensure knowledge of equipment cleanliness, availability, equipment repair status and yard condition Prepping yard for start & close of business (gates, pumps, etc.) All small to medium equipment is "Rent Ready" clean and staged or pre-loaded Loading & Unloading customers as yard flow dictates Deliver equipment to jobsites or customer homes Answer incoming calls and effectively engage customers both on the phone and in person Discuss customer needs and suggest suitable and safe equipment for the application Load/unload rental equipment as needed Successfully negotiate rental rates and pricing to achieve optimal market share and profitability Commitment to safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Customer service and/or sales experience
  • Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
  • Safety awareness
  • Self-motivation
  • Able to pass a Forklift, AWP, and propane training test
  • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work fluctuating schedules which include some Saturdays
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds several times throughout a shift
  • Standing 50% of workday
  • Walking 45% of workday
  • Sitting 5% of workday

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as service technician (mechanic) and/or electrician

Responsibilities
