About The Position

The Counter Sales Associate acts as the primary retail customer contact for NAPA. A person in this role assists with giving each customer a positive NAPA experience by listening for customers' needs, preparing correct parts, and maintaining personal and store image.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License preferred.
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred.
  • GED preferred.
  • Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
  • Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.

Responsibilities

  • Build good relationships with NAPA customers.
  • Greet and serve all customers.
  • Secure accurate parts and assist in resolving issues for customers.
  • Maintain retail displays.
  • Assist in receiving/stocking inventory.
