About The Position

The Inside Sales Associate works with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. On a daily basis, the Inside Sales Associate establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers, representing the company in a professional manner. They process, pull, and distribute customer products quickly and efficiently, handle questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner, and accurately perform data entry of sales orders to generate invoices for products ordered to be picked up or delivered. The role also involves securing payment of invoices, evaluating warranty items, estimating delivery dates based on vendor schedules, and assisting in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.
• Strong counter presence and ability to deal directly with customers.
• Strong customer-service attitude.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with inventory and customer issues.
• Familiarity with a related product line such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction helpful.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Secure payment of invoices with proper funds or obtain credit authorization.
• Evaluate and determine disposition of warranty items handled at the counter.
• Estimate date of delivery to customers based on vendor's production and delivery schedules.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
