About The Position
Under the direction of a cafeteria supervisor, the Counter Aide is responsible for the portioning, setting up and service of food items and cleaning and maintenance of all areas and equipment related to the cafeteria. The role also assists with set-up, service, and clean-up of special functions as assigned.
Requirements
- High school degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year food service experience
- Excellent customer relation skills
Responsibilities
- Assists with meal service in the cafeteria to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operates departmental equipment in a safe and efficient manner and maintains assigned work areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
- Assists in the set up and service of special functions.
- Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and the achievement of excellence by following departmental and hospital guidelines.
