About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is hiring part-time Count Team Members to join our team at Daytona Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida . As a Count Team Member, you will count and sort previous days' soft money and gaming chips accurately and in a timely manner, following all company and state policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the proper state gaming commission license is required
  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
  • Ability to handle large amounts of money responsibly
  • No experience or diploma required
  • Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Manual dexterity to casino chips and paper bills
  • Exposure to secondhand smoke
  • Exposure to high volume noise
  • Days
  • Weekends
  • Weekdays as needed
  • Holidays

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that cash boxes are removed from carts, scanned, and put through the system
  • Ensure that all monies are verified, proofed, strapped, and bricked with required information
  • Complete all daily logs and forms
  • Transport money carts to storage areas
  • Report any issues to Lead Count
