About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A review of this description has excluded the marginal functions of this job which are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an” at will” employment relationship. Provides excellent quality of customer service to co-workers and guests. Removes BVA cans from slot machines and replaces with empty cans. Transports the BVA cans to and from the Count room. Opens the drop containers and counts the money and tickets. Verifies documentation of drop and count of money and tickets. Bundles currency and reconciles final totals. Prepares daily reports as required by company policies, procedures and state gaming regulations. Maintains Drop/Count equipment and Drop/Count room in a clean and orderly condition. Keeps the supervisor informed of any problems and issues. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Mississippi State Gaming License

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
