This position is specific to the area of Community Corrections and Residential Reentry. The Counselor will be responsible for providing structured and informative treatment/educational groups in a residential or out-patient setting and maintaining appropriate documentation; responsible for providing individual counseling as needed. This Counselor will be specific to AOD and Substance Abuse Counseling in a residential reentry facility. Requirements
- Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in behavioral science, education, or social services including 1-3 years of professional experience.
- Applicants must have one of the following licensing credentials (CDCA or comparable licensure).
- The licenses and three years verifiable professional experience may be considered.
- First Aid & CPR certification is required and must be maintained.
- VOAOHIN will provide certification if not already obtained
