Counselor (Per Diem)
About The Position
The Counselor is responsible for: Providing quality individual and group clinical services and case management to assigned clients in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design and in compliance with all licensing requirements, accreditation entities, and organizational standards Developing, implementing and revises individual treatment plans for assigned clients Completing and documenting all required assessments, treatment plans and transition plans, including clinical progress documentation and billing paperwork in established required time frames Providing group treatment to clients using Spectrum curriculum and following group facilitation protocol as trained Refers clients to appropriate services in the community as necessary
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of one-year supervised counseling experience in the substance abuse treatment or closely related field required.
- Must have basic ability in use of computers sufficient to utilize electronic health records.
Nice To Haves
- LADC I or CADAC certification preferred.
