New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We deliver respectful, high-quality care that supports recovery and wellness across our communities. We’re hiring a full time Licensed Clinician (LSW or LAC) Counselor to support our Behavioral Health program for our Burlington (Mount Holly)Location. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who values trauma-informed, culturally responsive, person-centered care and wants to do meaningful work in a supportive team environment. We use a trauma-informed approach that emphasizes: Emotional and physical safety Choice and shared decision-making Strengths-based goal setting Cultural humility and responsive care Collaboration and transparency What You’ll Do Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for mental health and substance use needs Develop person-centered treatment plans in partnership with clients Provide individual and group counseling (in-person and telehealth) Use evidence-informed practices (e.g., MI, CBT/DBT-informed skills, relapse prevention, coping skills) as appropriate Support clients with stress management, emotional regulation, recovery supports, and community resources Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and strengthen outcomes Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR in accordance with program standards and compliance requirements
