Terros Health is hiring a Counselor for our residential services program working in Phoenix, AZ Full-Time M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm Primarily located in at our Women's Residential Facility, in Phoenix AZ 85018 Co-located at our Oak Health Center in Phoenix, AZ 85008

Requirements

  • Master's degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a behavioral health field, Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and EHRs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role.
  • Valid AZ Driver License.
  • Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 22 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment
  • Must pass a TB Test.

  • Licensed Associate Addiction Counselor (LAAC)

  • Licensed marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
  • Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners

Responsibilities

  • Screenings
  • Assessments
  • Treatment planning
  • Case load management
  • Group/individual counseling
  • Crisis management
  • Coordination of care
  • Prepare intake documentation, progress notes, event notifications and other documentation regarding clients in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to our members, to include crisis management, as needed.
  • Coordination of care
  • Therapeutic interventions
  • Completing thorough clinical documentation.
