About The Position

Performs case management with clients who have a severe and persistent mental illness. Group Therapy for clients with severe and persistent mental illness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and some college credits if hired 12/31/1999 or earlier
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field if hired 1/1/2000 or later
• Knowledge of the DSM-5
• Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD.

Nice To Haves

• 2 Years of experience with client with severe and persistent mental illness
• De-escalation Techniques, Group Therapy expertise

Responsibilities

• Facilitates Group therapy.
• Case Management and care coordination for assigned clients.
• Insurance verification and authorization.
• Management of therapeutic milieu.
• Accurately and completely documents client contact.
• Maintains JCAHO standards and DMHAS, Medicaid, and HBH policies and regulations.
