About The Position

Adelphoi is seeking a dedicated and family-centered professional to join the Family Relationship Coaching team.  The FRC program provides supervised visitation, visitation coaching, and evidence-based parenting interventions to support families working toward reunification.   This strength-based, trauma-informed program helps parents develop positive parenting skills, strengthen parent-child relationships, improve communication and reduce barriers to safe reunification.  Through structured intervention, coaching, and community support, the FRC program empowers parents to meet their goals and build healthy and nurturing family environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, early childhood education, psychology, counseling, or a human service-related field.
  • Experience working with families, at-risk youth, or in a child welfare system strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, positive parenting strategies, or family systems preferred.
  • Confidence in leading parent skill-building, coaching, and crisis de-escalation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet family needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with families, at-risk youth, or in a child welfare system strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervised visitation to parents and children in a safe and structured setting.
  • Deliver visit coaching to support parents in understanding their children’s developmental and emotional needs.
  • Implement Evidence-Based curriculums to guide parents in developing positive parenting strategies, safe discipline, healthy parent-child interactions, and coping skills.
  • Support parents in identifying strengths and using them to make progress toward visitation goals.
  • Help parents build consistency in visitation attendance, preparation, and engagement.
  • Serve as a positive, supportive role model for appropriate behavior, communication, and emotional regulation during visits.
  • Work collaboratively with county agencies.
  • Assist families in connecting with community resources to increase sustainability post-discharge
