As a Counselor, you will play a key role in guiding clients toward lasting recovery. This includes delivering high-quality clinical services, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to a therapeutic and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Licensure: LPC, LCSW, Licensed-Eligible Resident, or CSAC (required).
• Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage crisis situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, in alignment with clinical policies and standards.
• Facilitate individual therapy, family sessions, and therapeutic groups.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Provide documentation and support for utilization review as needed.
• Coordinate with referral sources and outpatient providers.
• Assist in the development of aftercare plans and track client outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in staff training initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, including effective crisis intervention when necessary.
