Why ReDiscover? 700+ dedicated professionals Over five decades of community impact A culture grounded in compassion, collaboration, and growth About the KCATC Program The Kansas City Assessment and Triage Center (KC-ATC) is a comprehensive crisis and stabilization program serving the needs of Kansas City’s at risk population. Employing a multidisciplinary staff, KC-ATC is a resource for Law Enforcement, Hospital Emergency Departments and Community Mental Health programs in the greater Kansas City area. What You’ll Do Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.). Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan. Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed. Maintains cleanliness of the program space. Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records. Requirements of the Position Availability to work a Part-time schedule (16 hours per week) Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm. High School Diploma or GED. Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
