Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling from an accredited institution
  • LGPC licensure by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors (required)
  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psycho-social and mental health assessments
  • Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families
  • Facilitate referrals and resources to promote optimal functioning
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
