Job Overview: The bilingual counselor supports up to eight families by conducting assessments, facilitating Triple P groups, and providing individualized interventions that strengthen parenting skills, child development, and family functioning. This role also collaborates closely with supervisors, peers, DCP&P, and community providers while completing all required documentation to ensure high-quality, goal-aligned services. As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's. Program Info Our Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) enhances the knowledge, skills and confidence of parents; giving parents clear strategies to respond to their children’s needs, create a nurturing environment, and promote attachment. The evidence-based model is implemented individually with families in their homes and in a group setting.
