About The Position
The Counselor Intern position at Glenbeigh Hospital involves assisting in performing psychosocial assessments on new admissions. The intern will observe and assist in facilitating Group Therapy and conducting individual and family counseling sessions. Additionally, the intern will present lectures to patients and family members, participate in a treatment team with other professional staff, and maintain appropriate documentation and reports. Effective communication with patients' families, referents, and other professionals is essential. The intern is expected to maintain professional standards regarding practice, conduct, continuing education, appearance, and relationships with patients and other professionals.
