About The Position
This position is for a practicum or internship student who will assist in performing psychosocial assessments on new admissions. The student will observe and assist in facilitating Group Therapy and will also assist in conducting individual and family counseling sessions. Additionally, the student will present lectures to patients and family members, participate in a treatment team with other professional staff, and maintain appropriate documentation and reports. Effective communication with patients' families, referents, and other professionals is essential. The student is expected to maintain professional standards regarding practice, conduct, continuing education, appearance, and relationships with patients and other professionals.
