As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will have an opportunity to make a difference every day by helping people with substance abuse issues gain control of their lives. In this role, you will provide group and individual counseling, community support, case coordination and crisis intervention services to clients with a primary substance use disorder diagnosis. In conjunction with supervisor and treatment team, you will provide chemical dependency counseling services to patients and their families/collaterals through assessment and design, implementation, and revision of treatment plan.
