About The Position

Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. The Counselor I, as part of an integrated care team within the Integrated Community Support Specialist (ICSS) - Solutions to End Homelessness Program (STEHP) department, will provide therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents and families as assigned by a designated QMHP or Clinical Supervisor. This role may be assigned to various agency programs including, but not limited to: ACT, Crisis, Intensive Services, Outpatient, Jail Diversion, Wrap, Residential or Detox.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services field or combination of education/experience that qualifies as a QMHA
  • Officially QMHP certified or registered with MHACBO (for QMHA positions in the state of Oregon)

Nice To Haves

  • History of working cooperatively in a team setting with at least two years relevant work experience

Responsibilities
