About The Position

Seeking full-time counselor for intensive, in-home family and youth support program that provides services to youth, ages 11-18, and families in Camden County, NJ. Youth are referred as a diversional or dispositional option and may need support with one or more of the following: family conflict and challenges, behavioral and/or mental health challenges, educational/vocational needs, advocacy, and accessing services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required with 3 years' experience working with youth and families
• Minimum 3 years' experience working with youth and families
• Must have valid Driver's License, Insurance, Registration and automobile.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred in social work, counseling, or other related field
• Previous work experience with adolescents and youth and families, in-home experience, and case management experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct case management, advocacy, case planning, and referral and service linkages to families
• May perform specialized activities and functions specific to program.
• Completes documentation and other reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders involved in youth and family's ecology to address and achieve treatment goals
• Meets regularly with supervisor and participates in other continuing professional development opportunities.
