The Behavioral Health Counselor provides direct client education and counseling services to individuals and groups participating in CCHCI services. This role involves conducting intake assessments, providing individual counseling based on licensure, documenting behavioral health visits, and assisting clients with individualized service planning. The counselor will also provide culturally sensitive therapy modalities, participate in clinical discharge planning, and offer consultation and training to staff about behavioral health services.
