About The Position

Gross Catholic is searching for a High School Counselor. Successful candidates must be able to assist students with academic schedules, support students' social/emotional needs, and work with students to plan for their future.

Requirements

• A master's degree in school counseling with Nebraska certification or the ability to obtain the appropriate certification by August 1st, 2025
• Experience in high school counseling is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist students with academic schedules
• Support students' social/emotional needs
• Work with students to plan for their future
• Counsel students to fully develop each student's academic, career, personal and social abilities
• Help host events such as freshmen parent information nights, back to school night, open house, career day and Pre-ACT testing day
• Engage in extracurricular activities, coaching, or moderating clubs and activities
