Brigham Young University's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is seeking applications for full-time professional faculty positions. This is a continuing faculty status position that may be under-filled with a visitor. This position is focused on the direct delivery of psychological services to the BYU campus community, including students, faculty, and administration. All faculty convey the love of Jesus Christ through their service to students, and clinical work includes an emphasis on serving students with compassion as disciples of Jesus Christ should. The primary function of a CAPS faculty member consists of providing individual, group, and couples therapy. Faculty also engage in outreach and consultation. Teaching activities build faith in Jesus Christ and include scientifically accurate content in the domain of mental health, and faculty also engage in scholarly activities that advance understanding of the field of psychology.
